Our Origins
We are a Dublin California based Audio Video design and installation company. We specialize in, Whole House Audio/Video, Smart home Technology, Home Theaters, Home Automation, High Performance Music Systems, and Lighting Control Systems
We service Dublin, Danville, Pleasanton, Lafayette California and the surrounding Bay Area Cities. High Performance A/V was established in 2007 by John Dewey. John has over 20 years’ experience in construction and Audio Video Design and installation.
We are licensed, bonded and insured contractors in the state of California. We are authorized dealers and factory supported for the products we sell.
We are highly skilled and experienced in Audio Video design and installation for remodels and new home construction. We work closely with homebuilder’s, designers and architects to create a seamless project flow. Our construction based back ground allows us to communicate efficiently and effectively with home builders, designers and architects. Our Founder
John’s family owned a successful Electrician business which exposed him to the construction and homebuilding process at a young age. After his career in the military, he went to work for a local cable company and became a field technician. He realized then he had a passion for Audio Visual work and wanted to take his skills to the highest level. John became the Lead Project Manager for one of the largest and oldest Bay Area home technology and electronics companies. After 8 years of Project Management and overseeing many large projects, John developed his own company. In 2007 john created High performance A / V.
John continually attends conferences and product trainings throughout the year keep up on current trends and specific requirements of today’s smart home technology.
When John’s not working on amazing A/V projects, he enjoys hiking in the local trails, spending time with his family or you might even find him racing his car on one of the local area racetracks.
